        It is a great pleasure and privilege for me to welcome you to the website of JICA Alumni Association of India (JAAI). We are delighted that you could visit us. This portal not only contains historical perspective and events of JAAI, copies of our annual magazine “Sahyog”, updated directory of our members but also about JICA, its history and on going projects in India besides other useful information. It is an excellent source of information, faster medium of communication and effective forum of interaction for all of us. I, therefore, solicit your contribution for its regular updation and making it more interactive and interesting.

        Strengthening Indo - Japanese relationship is on high priority to all of us. The year 2007 was celebrated as the India - Japan friendship year in India. Our traditional friendship is developing on the strong foundations of our shared commitment to democratic ideals and the common desire to consolidate our exchanges. I believe that there must be a quantum jump in cultural, academic, technical and people to people exchanges to substantiate India – Japan strategic partnership. JAAI in collaboration with JICA India have successfully built a bridge between the people of two countries.

        JAAI constitutes an invaluable reservoir of talent and expertise in diverse fields. It is growing into a bigger and bigger family and has remarkably spread the horizons of its activities. I beseech you to provide strength to JAAI by your active participation in all of its activities and make it instrumental in strengthening Indo-Japan friendship and collaboration.
